Right now I’m in Day 5 of Devil Survivor from Atlus. One thing I noticed about this game is how it doesn’t like you to get attached to your demons. D: The 24 demon limit has made me perform fusions even if I didn’t really want to, because I’ve got a couple of demons that have leveled up to a ridiculous degree. One bonus though is that demons fused with levelled up base demons do get stat power ups.
Ignoring the Laplace Mail in Devil Survivor can also lead to bad endings. I decided to do a run where I specifically ignored the battle involving a character who was going to die according to the Laplace Mail, and once the time passed the battle was no longer available - I’m assuming it means the worse situation has occurred, and I was not able to prevent said character’s death D: Thank you, Atlus, for making this game! I’m going to just, uh, reload from that one save slot and go do it all over again!

Lux Pain is finally done. I’ve played through to the best ending, which is a bit sad, even without the help of any faq. There’s still no existing FAQ for this game, and the only way I got through Day 7, where I was looking for Nami’s sister, was via a quick google search led to this deviantart entry which covered most of the salient points regarding the game’s difficult points. I’m going to replay it once and make more posts about it once I’m done with even more Atlus games: My World, My Way, and Etrial Odyssey.
I’ve turned into an Atlus fangirl, haven’t I? D:

One thing I don’t love about playing GE is the length of time I take to download the patches once a new version is out, but hey, as long as I get to try out the new features as mentioned here, I’m all good. ^_^ And they’ve done some tweaking with the GUI that makes it much easier for the players to use.

The stats and item details window is better organized, and so I don’t feel like everything’s scrunched up for me to view. This is good because my screen resolution is terrible. The beta test font even looks okay with it now.

Item vaults, Market manager, and Leonardo Espresso now have a drop down menu to allow you to show only specific type of items for different categories.

The introduction of the Peso Merchant allows players to purchase premium items for temporary usage without having to purchase g-points…except that if you want to earn peso, you have to gather specific stones from the Forbidden and Ancient Territories. Entrance to those require Territory passes that don’t come cheap. Lucky for those who haven’t spent their free passes yet, not-so-lucky if you had. ^^; Also, I hope the Peso Merchant will get a graphics change just like the item merchants and Reboldeaux Servant - she looks unfinished compared to the other NPCs.
I took some time off leveling to go around the different cities, looking for the two new NPCs and if there were new quests. Calyce is currently in the Pegadilla at Coimbra, while a spot near the Old Woman in Auch is marked with Claire’s name. And after getting stuck in the Pioneering Support Office, I spent some time screencapping for this:

Took the chance to see if I can now try to log-in because most of the world migration happened while I was at work. So far all I’ve seen is the login screen, and I must say, I can’t wait to get into Rembrandt! =)
I found this shiny new layout that reminds me of GE. Anyway, an x-trap error is getting between me and the rest of the game, I’m still downloading patches and checking on how to get into the Non-PK server. At this rate I may end up going in around Sunday, after work ^_^;;

I suppose at one point or the other, I may have entertained thoughts of dressing up my wizard (privately dubbed Tezuka-kun for reasons best left to the imagination. :D) especially when I finally purchased the School Look package for him. Sadly, all the staffs for wizards were too long, so I parked that until a helpful soul from my faction, VargasII, lent me this:

When they said wands were made from branches, they were surely NOT being this literal.

Away, Jean-Claude, away! He’s out to get you!
With my wiz looking like this right now, I may end up doing a whole slew of screencaps on the adventures of my own ‘Harry’! But for now, I’ll be making reading the first book again while I figure out how I’ll proceed with my screencapping adventures. Wish me luck!

My lan card keeps generating errors for the past week, so I’ve been off GE for that same length of time. D= I’m kinda experiencing withdrawal symptoms now, since I’m this close to vetting, and still haven’t!
Oh well at least I have something happy to think about - I just topped up and got another Adelina the Pirate in ABS! ^_^ Now I wonder what I can get for it?
