…my GE client is giving me trouble with the latest patch downloads, so while I’m waiting for the thing to show up, let me just commemorate some of the strange things that happened while getting to 84.
- Getting stuck with the alchemist Torsche’s mysterious silhouette on the screen while looking for Kamen and feeling like I’ve been rick-rolled!
- Hunting trees, which is possibly down there with gathering tortoise powder and White feathers as the tedious hunting for items ever. This screenie made me smile because it was the last tree I needed to get to have Najib Sharif in my team.
- Lorch, thanks for the offer, but there’s something disturbing by the way this conversation sounded like a dating sim choice.
So I just succumbed to the wonders of the limited edition box set today, gathering up my courage to withdraw more money than what I intended to buy (which was the bellem’s card of the month). Once my GE is up and running I’ll be running around with an Emilia the Sage of my very own! But while waiting for the system patch to load, guess what lucky thing came up?
After a middling run where the best I got was an Elite Chain mail and three elite robes, I chatted with Ninemoons about what I wish I would get:
